Harrison Beckenstein is an emerging artist whose work explores the complexities of human connection.

Through the expressive languages of painting and drawing, Harrison explores the poetic tension between form and formlessness. His creative journey is nourished by a deep curiosity for the dialogue between past and present, drawing inspiration from the evolving worlds of architecture, fashion and fine art. Harrison’s pieces often echo the patterns of these disciplines, capturing emotion in contour and rhythm in space. His artistic voice has been recognized both locally and across the state. He is the recipient of the Michael Meltzer Memorial Music and Art Scholarship (2022), the Junior Book Award from Norwalk Community College (2022), and the Connecticut Association of Schools Outstanding Arts Award (2023).

Looking ahead, Harrison is committed to continuing his artistic exploration beyond college. With a passion for collaboration and innovation, he aspires two work alongside artistic directors and creative institutions shaping spaces where imagination and humanity meet.
